Math instructor Roxanna Ezenekwe emphasizes dynamic learning in her instruction, utilizing a variety of tools to effectively teach all levels of mathematics to students. She currently teaches at Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, South Carolina and Anderson University, South Carolina. She designs courses and syllabi. Over the course of 3 years, she has increased student passing rate by 17 percent. She also exceeded an 80 percent retention rate in spring semester of 2021. Roxanna Ezenekwe provides supplemental materials with real-world applications as needed, as well as a minimum of four synchronous learning opportunities and one-on-one meetings to better assist students.

Previously, Roxanna Ezenekwe served as an adjunct mathematics instructor at Greenville Technical College, where she also used a paired-skills approach and multiple tools to teach statistics, trigonometry, college algebra, and calculus. She earned a master’s degree in secondary education from Converse University and a fundamentals of online teaching certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, she has taken 48 hours in secondary mathematics and related courses at other institutions, including Clemson University. She supplements her career by attending conferences such as the South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics Conference.
